Energize our walk-in-friendly salon where bookings buzz, rent-a-chair stylists shine, youth trainees learn to cut and color, and hair products fly off the shelves! We're looking for a superstar Receptionist to manage the front desk, support our vibrant community programs, and drive sales in the Red Centre's hottest hair spot.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome walk-in clients and manage bookings/appointments via phone, online portals, and in-person using salon software (e.g., Timely, Mindbody).
* Coordinate schedules for rent-a-chair stylists and youth trainees, ensuring seamless operations.
* Process payments, handle retail sales of hair products, and upsell services/treatments for commission boosts.
* Support youth hair training programs: check-in trainees (16-24yo), manage program admin, and assist with station setups.
* Keep reception spotless, stock products, and maintain compliance with NT health/safety regs.
* Build client loyalty through exceptional service, social media shoutouts, and feedback follow-ups.
What We're Looking For:
* 1+ years in reception, retail, or hospitality; salon experience a huge plus.
* Confident with POS systems, booking apps, and basic inventory management.
* Outgoing, multitasking pro who thrives with diverse crowds (tourists, locals, First Nations clients).
* Enthusiasm for youth mentoring and sales; weekend availability essential.
* Valid NT Driver's License; right to work in Australia.
