- Working Arrangements: On-site at the ASIC office for 5 days per fortnight for the duration of the engagement.
Additional Requirement:
All personnel nominated under the contract must be Australian Citizens and are required to complete the ASIC Suitability and Baseline Assessment (ASB) before commencement. This requirement is unique to ASIC and is specific to working within a regulatory environment. It should not be confused with a standard Australian Government security clearance. Personnel holding a current AGSVA Baseline or higher (e.g., NV1) clearance will be considered highly advantageous.
About the Opportunity:
SoftLabs is seeking experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 professionals to join our team supporting the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under the Dynamics 365 Consultancy Services Panel. This engagement supports ASIC’s strategic initiative to deliver modern, secure, and efficient regulatory solutions through the Dynamics 365 platform, which underpins the OneASIC case management system. The consultants will augment ASIC’s internal Digital Applications Team, working in collaboration with project managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality D365 solutions across multiple digital transformation programs.
Job details:
ASIC has an ongoing and significant portfolio of projects on the Dynamics 365 platform (DSP), supporting digital initiatives, legislative changes, and business process improvements. To deliver these outcomes, ASIC is seeking experienced and highly skilled Dynamics 365 professionals to provide consulting and delivery services that will enable its IT division to achieve key project deliverables.
Dynamics 365 Resourcing for this work is planned annually, and projects are typically aligned to a financial year. However, some works and projects may be announced on an ad-hoc basis at short notice (for example, legislative changes), for which they will have strict and short timings and deadlines for delivery.
Roles and Position Descriptions:
Junior Dynamics 365 Developer
Key Accountabilities -
- Provide both technical and functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution.
- Continuously improve release and deployment processes and automation; manage code branches and deployments. Support release management and planning.
- Design and develop modifications or extensions to the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, perform unit testing, deployment, and write technical documentation.
- Plan and support system and acceptance testing. Proactively solve business issues and manage stakeholder expectations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience –
Knowledge & Technical Skills

Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology is desirable and/or equivalent substantial relevant work experience (current or previous). Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification is desirable.

- Proven experience in leading MS Dynamics 365 technical specialists in complex enterprise environments. Extensive Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution design experience.
- Advanced MS Dynamics 365 development (C#, JavaScript, HTML, SQL) and deployment experience. Advanced skills in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and people skills with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
- Experience in resolving complex client and stakeholder-related queries with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or another relevant degree is desirable.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications MB-230, MB-400, and MB-600 are highly desirable.
