At HR Surveyors, we're a specialist engineering surveying company working across major civil, building and construction, and infrastructure projects nationally. We're looking for a motivated Survey Assistant to join our growing team and learn the ropes of engineering surveying through structured on‐the‐job training.
About the Role
As a Survey Assistant, you'll work closely with our Engineering Surveyors and Survey Technicians to support field and office‐based surveying activities. This entry‐level role is ideal for someone with a solid interest in getting started in the surveying industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with on‐site surveys by setting out and marking survey points.
* Help collect and record survey data accurately.
* Support the calibration, maintenance, and transport of survey equipment.
* Communicate with the team to plan work schedules and report on progress.
* Follow company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
About You
* A strong interest in surveying.
* Great attention to detail and communication skills.
* A willingness to learn and follow instructions.
* A current driver's licence (essential).
* Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain one).
