About the role
Byrne Trailers is seeking experienced and motivated Section Leaders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Section Leader, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing a team of production workers, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our industry-leading trailers. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within the manufacturing industry.
What you'll be doing
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations within your section to meet daily and weekly production targets
* Monitor product quality and provide feedback and guidance to improve processes and outputs
* Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by the team
* Assist with the training and development of team members, helping them develop new skills
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to management
* Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of operations
* Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
* Conduct tool box talks, safety checks, and performance reviews
* Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to team members

* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
* A proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and motivate teams
* Commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace
* Proficiency in using relevant manufacturing software and equipment
