Project Development Manager Contract till end of March with a possible extension Attractive daily pay rate of $900 - $1100 plus super Hybrid work arrangement (WFH Parramatta) PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Project Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and management of small to medium based capital infrastructure solutions and projects in accordance with standards, guides, practices and processes to ensure project objectives, scope, time, cost, safety and quality requirements are met and aligned to program requirements. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead the project team working within a collaborative matrix organisational model to ensure projects are developed to achieve balanced, considered and integrated customer and community focused outcomes. Provide efficient and effective project management services, including managing project financials and accurate reporting on project progress and risks, to ensure all projects are completed to agreed time, cost, quality, scope requirements and meet Government and Program objectives. Demonstrate highly developed written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical solutions and concepts and negotiate/influence project outcomes with internal partners, stakeholders and the community during all stages of the project. Lead and manage the preparation of strategic, concept and detail designs and other project documentation, including estimates of cost and reports to support program governance approvals and ensure the preparation and retention of quality project documentation. Develop, apply and continually review project management plans in line with procedures, guidelines, processes and practices to ensure a high- level of WH&S, risk management, environmental management and quality is achieved on all projects/contracts. Prepare, review and implement project briefs and change requests, provide appropriate direction and technical advice to facilitate the development of effective solutions and early resolution of issues, and fulfil the role of Transport for NSW Representative on selected contracts to manage the administration and delivery of professional service and delivery contracts. Share knowledge, lessons, skills and foster teamwork and mentoring to support the development of a motivated, skilled, innovative and continuously improving team. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: A relevant four-year engineering (Civil / Structural or related) degree or appropriate equivalent tertiary qualification. Possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and willingness on occasion to work outside normal working hours and travel.
