**_The Opportunity:_**

Your focus will be to provide leadership, manage the fleet team's activities, and ensure that tasks are completed and achieved in a timely manner. You will head up financial management, fleet stock management, procurement, compliance, stakeholder engagement, fuel cards, maintenance and service delivery improvements throughout Victoria.
**_Your Key Accountabilities will include:_**

- **_Meeting strategic, financial and risk management objectives_**:
- **_Managing the fleet team (5 persons) in coordinating the commissioning and decommissioning of fleet vehicles as per specifications_**:
- **_Leading the team in managing maintenance activities of leased and owned vehicles (approx 1600)_**:
- **_Reviewing and administering arrangements with the vehicle leasing provider_**:
- **_Monthly reporting, including budgeting, safety reports and KPIs_**:
- **_Procurement and purchasing, including strategic evaluation and negotiations_**

- The salary range is between $114,830 to $125,735 plus super for a 12 month fixed term contract
**_Your Skills and Experience:_**
- We are looking for a confident people manager who is successful in managing and empowering small teams and building a positive bond and work ethic
- You may currently be a Fleet Manager or hold a leadership opening such as a Facilities or Corporate Services Manager, whereby fleet is part of your accountabilities
- You will demonstrate capabilities in financial reporting and budgeting and the whole of fleet life costing
- Operational improvement, innovation and monitoring of KPIs will be elements you thrive on delivering
- Sound ability to influence and present key findings to gain agreements or put forward business solutions is required
- Proven experience in building critical relationships with government bodies, providers, internal staff and stakeholders, plus liaising with the community is necessary.
