Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team and take ownership of end‐to‐end payroll delivery across the Asia‐Pacific region. This role will be offered on an initial 12‐month fixed term contract.
This is a hands‐on role ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys partnering with HR and external providers, and ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple jurisdictions.
As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for administering payroll operations across the region, ensuring all payroll activities are delivered accurately, compliantly, and on time. You'll also be supporting internal audits and reporting requirements. Open to applications from candidates seeking to work 4 or 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end‐to‐end payroll processing for APAC countries with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
* Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers and support employment confirmations where required
* Ensure compliance with local legislation, statutory payments, and reporting obligations
* Manage payroll service providers and oversee compliance with contracted services
* Maintain accurate payroll documentation, records, and standard operating procedures
* Support monthly payroll reconciliations, variance reporting, and accruals
* Partner with HR on benefits administration, terminations, and employee data accuracy
To be successful
* 2+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll, ideally across multiple countries or regions
* Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and compliance requirements
* Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and organisational skills
* Experience with SuccessFactors (SAP) system highly regarded
* High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
* A collaborative, service‐focused mindset with clear communication skills
