Account Manager
Victoria | B2B Sales | Structural Products
We are seeking a driven Account Manager to manage and grow sales of structural building products across Victoria. This is a field-based B2B sales role suited to someone with strong experience in the construction and building materials industry.
Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for account management, new business development, and project-based sales across residential and commercial construction markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an established customer portfolio across Victoria
* Drive new business development within the construction industry
* Sell and specify structural building products into active projects
* Build and maintain relationships with builders, engineers, architects, developers, and distributors
* Provide technical product advice and project support
* Prepare quotes, pricing, and proposals; negotiate and close sales
* Track project pipelines and opportunities from lead to completion
* Meet and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals
* Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or Business Development Manager
* Background in construction, building materials, or structural products
* Strong understanding of project-based sales
* Existing relationships within the Victorian construction market (highly regarded)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work autonomously in a field-based sales role
* Valid Australian driver's licence
