Administration Assistant to the Director of Nursing and Support Services Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Director of Nursing and Support Services and the broader Nursing Executive Team. The role involves managing diaries, records, and correspondence. The role provides administrative support and coordination of hospital wide events. The role is key the in organisation of executive meetings, including minute taking, collating, distributing and follow up of action items. The role is integral to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the team.

Provide a range of administrative support services to enable Nursing Services to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. Support the Nursing Services for day-to-day supervision of Clinical Support Officers staff and Volunteers of Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital.

Sydney Hospital is Australia's first hospital and dates from the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788.

Today, Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospitals' state of the art facilities and professional staff provide a unique blend of general and specialist medical services for the public and community, including a 24 hour emergency services, general medicine including close observation unit, perioperative services, specialist hand and eye surgery.

The Hospital is in the heart of the Central Business District in Sydney. :

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
1. Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources
2. Experience of responding to a range of customer enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment
3. High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
4. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving
5. Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork
6. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office 365 packages including Word, TEAMS Outlook, ROB, Stafflink, HealthRoster, Content Manager, IMS+
7. Demonstrated ability to transcribe minutes of meetings and present them as an accurate and meaningful record
