Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of novel and conventional geophysical sensing capabilities for our newly established drones CRP. This full-time, fixed-term position will be responsible for integrating geophysical sensors on drones, focusing on aeromagnetic and electromagnetic devices.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Pilot and Maintenance Controller to advise the Director on technology and research direction in drone-based geophysics, develop the CRP strategy and business plan, and work with the Maintenance Controller to attach and calibrate geophysical instruments to drones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing workflows and operational standards for data collection using geophysical sensors
* Establishing QA/QC protocols for data quality control
* Collaborating with research teams to advance drone-based geophysics
* Maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in geophysics and experience working with drones. You should also have excellent communication and project management skills.

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range and 17% superannuation. The base salary will be in the range $114,000 - $136,000 for academic level B and $140,000 - $161,000 for academic level C.
