Overview
Underground Operators and Trades (Bowen Basin, QLD) – Job No: Work type: Full Time Fixed Term. Location: Mackay & Coalfields, Rockhampton & Capricorn Coast. Categories: Underground Coal Mining. Contract Features – Long‐term contracts.
Opportunities exist for experienced Underground Operators and Trades across established projects. The role involves conveyor installation and maintenance, ventilation, and outby services at multiple sites in the Bowen Basin.
Responsibilities
- Underground Coal Operator
- Underground Coal Fitter
- Underground Coal Electrician
The role involves delivering conveyor installation, upgrades, and maintenance, ventilation installs, and outby services in an underground coal mine setting. Maintain quality standards and collaborate to exceed expectations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated underground coal experience – this is not an entry‐level role
- Proven experience in conveyor installation and/or maintenance
- Proven experience in outby services and/or ventilation
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical
- Valid driver's licence
- Signed copies of training transcripts and/or authorisations
