About the Role
As the Bid Writer & Coordinator you'll play a central role in managing the tender submission process from start to finish. Working closely with the Directors, Commercial Manager, Bid Manager, and wider project team, you'll ensure every submission is accurate, compelling, and delivered on time.
This is a role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, from reviewing complex tender documents and coordinating inputs, to ensuring formatting is polished and messaging hits the mark.
Your work will help shape the first impression our client makes, and that matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full tender lifecycle, from receipt to submission
* Review tender requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored, high-impact responses
* Coordinate and compile information from various stakeholders including project managers, estimators, and directors
* Format, proofread, and quality-check submissions to meet client expectations and deadlinesSupport the development of capability statements and other proposal documents
* Liaise with external consultants, suppliers, and clients where required
* Help maintain a high standard of quality, creativity, and professionalism across all documentation
What You Bring
* Experience in a Bid Writing or similar role, ideally within construction or the built environment is advantage but not essential.
* A keen eye for detail and a high standard of written communication
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Adobe InDesign or PowerPoint is a bonus
* The ability to work calmly under pressure and juggle competing priorities
* A team mindset with the independence to drive your own workflow
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and pride in delivering high-quality work
