This senior role requires an experienced surveyor with a detail-oriented mindset. The position involves overseeing various aspects of surveying across multiple mine sites.
The successful candidate will work closely with mining, geology, and technical services teams to ensure accurate survey data is delivered in a timely manner, supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
 * Conduct underground and open-pit surveys to meet statutory standards.
 * Perform stope void surveys, development mark-ups, and diamond drill collar checks.
 * Maintain up-to-date mine models and issue development memos to production teams.
 * Calculate monthly volumes, advances, and reconciliation data.
 * Complete surface surveys, including stockpile pickups and prism monitoring.
 * Provide accurate survey information for weekly, monthly, and long-term planning.
 * Mentor the open-pit survey team and provide functional guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
 * Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying.
 * Grade 1 Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate.
 * Minimum 3 years' underground survey experience (gold industry preferred).
 * 2+ years' open-pit survey experience.
 * Proficiency in Deswik or Surpac software.
 * Experience with Leica, Trimble, Optech, CMS, and drone systems.
 * Strong data management and reporting skills.
 * Current WA Manual Driver's Licence.
