About the Role
We're seeking an experienced
HV Commissioning Manager
to lead high-voltage commissioning activities nationwide. This hands-on leadership role blends technical expertise, team development and project coordination. You'll work closely with engineers to develop testing plans, oversee site commissioning, and mentor our HV technicians to maintain the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and perform commissioning and functional testing of HV equipment
Coordinate commissioning schedules and resources across multiple sites
Develop and review testing plans with engineering teams
Mentor HV technicians and build team capability
Ensure compliance with AS/NZS standards, WHS and client requirements
Prepare and review commissioning reports and documentation
Manage KPIs for safety, skills development and team growth
Qualifications & Skills
5–8+ years HV commissioning experience with leadership responsibilities
Strong knowledge of protection systems, SCADA and HV apparatus
Experience in solar, wind or battery storage projects
Proven ability to manage teams and complex commissioning programs
Competent with relay testing tools (e.g., Omicron)
Current Electrical Licence + driver's licence
Ability to travel and work on remote sites
HV switching certification
Experience developing training programs for technical teams
