About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Spray Painter to join our AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team. The role involves delivering quality workmanship to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mix and match colours for vehicles scheduled for painting.
2. Build and maintain a colour library.
3. Prep, prime, and paint vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements and paint supplier processes.
4. Buff and denib vehicles.
5. Handle all vehicles with care.
6. Note any additional paint work not included in the quote.
7. Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
8. Maintain cleanliness of work bays and workshop areas.
9. Coach apprentices when required.
About You:
1. Trade qualified Spray Painter.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a trade-qualified Spray Painter.
3. Strong commitment to safety.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. High attention to detail.
6. Ability to work effectively with the team.
7. Ability to meet deadlines.
8. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
9. Own tools to perform the role.
