Howe Farming Enterprises Pty Ltd grows a variety of crops on several farms located near Mareeba. Howe Farming works under a high level of WHS procedures.
Howe Farming is seeking a candidate to join their canteen team which provides a food service for employees.
Canteen worker ~ Cook / Kitchen Hand for Immediate start
25hrs per week (possibility to do more hours in another field)
All on the job training will be provided
Responsibilities include. however not limited to:
- Washing, peeling, chopping and cooking basic meals, sandwiches, burgers, cakes, salads
- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
- Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas as determined by law and company policy
- Disposing of rubbish and keeping kitchen area tidy
To be considered for the role:
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Must hold C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
- Experience preferred
Applicants applying must be able to do shift 4.30am to 12.30pm
