Overview
Boral is seeking two responsible, organised and experienced professional drivers to operate a Truck and Dog at the Glebe depot and a live bottom semi-trailer at the Prestons depot. As a Boral Driver, you will be responsible for loading and delivering quarry materials to customer sites throughout the Sydney Metro region. The role requires availability to work Monday to Friday with the option to work Saturdays. Flexible working hours are available.
Your day to day
* Delivery of quarry materials with responsibility for compliance with axle weight tolerances and using on board telematics systems to capture data.
* Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance as required.
* Actively monitoring and maintaining compliance with axle weight tolerances.
* Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of materials.
* Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.
What we are looking for
* Current HC licence
* Proven experience driving heavy combination (HC) trucks
* OH&S induction for construction industry (White Card) - Preferred
* Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations
