Role Summary
As Warehouse & Sales you'll play a dual role supporting both the warehouse operations and customer sales functions. You will help manage inventory, prepare orders for dispatch, interact with customers, and support day-to-day business activities that keep the warehouse and sales operations running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone organised, customer-focused, and physically capable, with a passion for providing excellent service in a dynamic wholesale environment.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
* Receive, unpack, and process incoming stock including valves, fittings and related products.
* Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for same-day dispatch.
* Maintain warehouse stock organisation, cleanliness and safety.
* Assist with inventory management and replenishment.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys).
Sales & Customer Service
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in-person at the counter.
* Provide product knowledge and assist customers to select appropriate valves, fittings and accessories to irrigation and plumbing sectors.
* Quote prices, process orders, and manage customer accounts.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships with trade, industrial and irrigation clients, with a possibility of external customer visits.
* Upsell complementary products and assist with promotional offers.
General / Team Support
* Collaborate with team members to support daily operations.
* Assist with receiving shipments, labelling and updating inventory systems.
* Participate in continuous improvement of warehouse and sales processes.
* Uphold Edenport's values of reliability, integrity and service excellence.
Other duties may come up as required.
Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, retail or sales environment (commercial or wholesale).
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to safely lift and move products regularly.
* Basic computer literacy (email, inventory systems, order entry).
* Knowledge of valves, fittings or plumbing/industrial products is preferred but not essential.
* Experience with inventory or point-of-sale systems.
* Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
