We're looking for Irrigation Leading Hands to support the sustainable growth and production at various Orchards in the Wemen region, VIC.You'll work closely with the Irrigation Controller and have the responsibility for day-to-day irrigation operations. You'll also have the autonomy to implement irrigation programmes suited to the farm. This hands-on role involves monitoring soil moisture and maintaining the farm’s irrigation equipment and infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in training Orchard Technicians on irrigation and maintenance programme requirementsLiaise with contractors to ensure timelines and scoped works are metAssist in monitoring and managing the efficient and timely delivery of water and fertiliser to the orchardsMaintain irrigation equipment and ensure timely servicing and repairs of the irrigation systemIdentify and report wet areas and undertake corrective measuresWhat We're Looking For:A great team attitudeA strong safety mindset and a proven safety track recordHardworking and eager to learn new skillsPrevious experience working on a farm with knowledge of drip irrigation systems, system design and function, will be highly regardedWho We Are:ofi is a leading global company involved in the supply chain management, processing, and cultivation of agricultural products and food ingredients.
