Overview
SUMMARY: As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Warehouse Associate III is responsible for fulfilling and packaging customer orders, receiving incoming material, and preparing customer orders for domestic shipping. The Warehouse Associate will be required to work in a team environment to achieve the expected results.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Coordinates with local Freight Forwarders and logistic providers for sales order pickup on applicable shipments.
* Prepares sales orders for domestic and international shipping, generating, and verifying that all required documentation is included in the shipment.
* Proficient in core operational processes:
o Receiving: counting quantity per PO requirements, and validating supplier paperwork is accurate.
o Inventory Put away: Placing incoming material in appropriate location.
o Picking: Moving from location to location based on pick ticket requirements, counting and bagging quantity requirements.
o Shipping: determining weights and box dimensions and generating all relevant paperwork, packing slip, invoice, airway bill, export documentation (if applicable).
* Capable of performing inventory cycle counts.
* Support of AOG (Aircraft-on-the-Ground) off-hour shipments.
* Ensures warehouse and workstations are clean and organized.
* Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
