About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and energetic Support Worker to assist a male participant with physical and health-related support needs, helping him build independence and maintain an active lifestyle. You'll provide consistent, person-centered support including:
* Manual handling and personal care assistance.
* Medication management and diabetes support.
* Catheter care.
* Community access – attending appointments, shopping, social outings, gym, and hydrotherapy sessions.
* Domestic support – cooking, cleaning, and household tasks.
What We're Looking For
* A female Support Worker (aged 21–50 preferred) who is fit, active, and reliable.
* Someone who is flexible, confident working independently, and able to build rapport easily.
* Experience with diabetes and manual handling is essential.
* Willingness to be trained to perform Intermittent catheterisation.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, and relevant training required.
Availability
We currently have shifts available between 6am and 11pm Daily. Ideally, we are seeking staff who are open to doing shifts of 3-8 hours. Shift loadings apply to evenings, weekends and Public Holidays as well as Travel reimbursements for Participant related travel costs.
Shifts are available daily, and we will aim to offer you regular ongoing shifts that suit the needs of the Participant and your availability
