As the Pharmacist in charge at Mediplus Pharmacy, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled pharmacy assistants in delivering exceptional patient care and driving the growth and success of the pharmacy. This is a full‑time position based in Thuringowa Central, QLD.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflows and high‑quality service delivery
* Lead and manage a team of pharmacy assistants, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes customer satisfaction and employee engagement
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, expand the pharmacy's services and increase profitability
* Ensure the pharmacy's compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, such as general practitioners and specialists
* Actively participate in the pharmacy's marketing and community engagement initiatives
* Achieve 8CPA incentives
What we're looking for
* A registered pharmacist with AHPRA
* Able to successfully manage pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, financial management and operational efficiency
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Commitment to delivering exceptional patient‑centered care and promoting the pharmacy's role in the local community
