Financial and Management Accounting Role
This role combines financial and management accounting responsibilities within a small team. Key objectives include the timely production of month-end, quarterly, and full-year financial reporting and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the financial maintenance and review of group entities, including accounts payable/receivable, balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, tax effect accounting, and integrity reviews.
* Prepare taxation, FBT, and GST returns as required.
* Develop budgets, forecasts, cash flow management, capex, and key expenditure plans.
* Analyze variances and identify key business trends.
* Provide commercial support by producing quality data and analysis on projects and new business growth opportunities.
* Maintain up-to-date asset registers.
Requirements:
* Completion of a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent).
* 3-5 years of experience in a commercial accounting environment.
* Experience in budgeting, external reporting, and internal management reporting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement preparation.
* Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and forecasting principles and processes.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel modeling skills.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with the Head of Finance and Department managers to drive business growth.
