Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for a knowledgeable technical leader who can work with the Chief Digital and Information Officer and Leadership team and with customers on future technology requirements. You will be the "go to" person for technical advice and guidance.
**The Job**
- This job is going to be "a bit of everything" - from working on technology strategies to speaking with the business about what the best technologies or tools can solve their problems, keeping an architectural eye on technology projects.
- Engage business and IT stakeholders, creating and building relationships.
- Facilitates business and IT alignment through a collaborative, supportive and consultative manner, driving digital business strategies and balancing innovation, budget and business needs.
- Scans emerging technologies and the business ecosystem for major disruptive technology.
- Provides practical advice and best practices to take advantage of new, or emerging, opportunities and successfully deliver the expected business outcomes.
- Offer services and skills to support the development and execution of business strategy.
- Leads analysis of the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Facilitates a collaborative relationship across the IT team including service delivery and product delivery teams.
- Approve designs for projects and BAU - ie. Lead/be the Design Authority.

- Are you innovative and want an environment where you can bring technology to solve business problems quickly and easily?
- Do you have good technical expertise and are you knowledgeable in the Microsoft365 ecosystem? M365 knowledge is mandatory - Salesforce or ServiceNow knowledge would be useful, but is not mandatory.
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and microservices.
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
- Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Comfortable with working with business executives, and able to push back in a professional and diplomatic way.
