Due to company growth and expansion, we have a new and amazing opportunity for a WHS Coordinator to join our Autopact team in Rockhampton, where we have three highly successful dealerships. The successful candidate will be an experienced, result's driven professional with an exceptional work ethic and a passion for health and safety in the Workplace.

Responsibilities will include:


• Managing the site activities and safety KPI's within the WHS online safety software solution.


• Reviewing, monitoring, investigating, and closing out safety related incidents, hazards, and injuries.

Coordinating safety related training and servicing/testing of safety related equipment with internal and external stakeholders.

Assisting with the onboarding / site inductions of new employees.


• Managing site safety related documents and records.


• Coordinating the rollout and training of Autopact's national safety programs.


• Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify and remedy safety and environmental issues.


• Providing assistance, guidance, coaching and advice on all safety related matters.


• Conducting 'Safety Toolbox' meetings and monthly WHS Committee meeting.


• Assisting in employee 'Return-to-Work' processes.


• Review current risk control measures and perform risk assessments.


• Fostering diversity and inclusion practices to ensure employees have a safe work environment and culture.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:


• Formal Tertiary qualification's in WHS or related.


• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.


• Experience in the automotive industry, or other high-risk industry will be highly regarded.


• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.


• The ability to work under pressure.


• A good understanding of National WHS legislations and Codes of Practice.


• The ability to work autonomously and independently.


• The willingness to learn new skills and adapt as needed.
