As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in supporting Alltype Engineering Pty. Ltd.'s operations during local shutdowns. This casual position, allowing you to contribute your expertise when needed most. Based in Kwinana Beach, WA ****, you will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining and repairing critical machinery and equipment.
What you'll be doing
Perform skilled mechanical fitting work, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of various industrial equipment and machinery.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to carry out fitting tasks accurately and efficiently.
Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble mechanical components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with the wider team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during shutdown periods.
Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Construction card White / Blue Card Essential.
