Join Our Growing Team at Paeds Plus, Currambine
Due to exciting clinic expansion – new consulting rooms and additional clinicians – we are seeking 2–3 professional and committed Medical Secretaries to join our established administration team.
The roles are variably part‑time 2‑4 days a week, and we are looking for permanent and committed individuals to join our team and build with us. Roles are suitable for both experienced medical secretaries and general administrators with full training and support provided by our team.
Hours are set 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
About Us
Paeds Plus is a Private Multi‑Disciplinary Paediatric Clinic providing care for children through a supportive team approach. Our expanding team consists of Paediatricians, GP, a Psychiatrist, PLUS Allied Health who work together in all aspects of the child's care. We cater for the health and developmental needs of all children from birth to teen years.
Established in 2022 by Dr Gareth Kameron and his passionate team, our primary focus is to provide supportive integrated care for children and their families from diagnosis to therapy.
We believe in a collaborative approach, so you will never be on your own; lunch breaks are paid for and will include time to collaborate with other health professionals.

The Role
Your Duties
* Maintaining administrative policies, procedures, and systems.
* Meet and greet patients upon attending their appointments.
* Answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and enquiries.
* Schedule and manage patient bookings.
* Day‑to‑day accounts – EFTPOS and end‑of‑day reconciliation.
* Sending out patient records/letters to referring doctors and interested parties.
* Typing medical letters.
* General administration and practice support.
Job Requirements
* A positive, empathetic, friendly personality.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to use initiative and multitask.
* Willingness to learn, solve problems and think outside the box.
* Commitment to excellence in patient care and customer service.
* Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Prior medical receptionist/secretary experience.
* Experience with practice management soft‑wares (we use Clinic to Cloud).
* Experience with secure messaging systems such as Healthlink.
* Experience with Apple computers.
* Knowledge of the Medical Benefits Scheme / Private Practice.
* Experience in Paediatrics – Specialists with Paediatricians and Allied Health.
