The Opportunity
We are searching for a driven and experienced Crewing Administration and Logistics Officer to coordinate all aspects of administration and logistics for crewing vessels based out of Darwin.
Key Responsibilities
· General administrative activities, use of email, excel and word
· Engagement with crew to understand crew logistic requirements;
· Engagement with local suppliers in the supply and delivery of food, equipment and spares to the Vessels.
· Raise requisitions and orders and verification of the supplier invoices to orders.
· Engagement with Port agent, to arrange berthing, refuelling and potable water resupply to the vessels
· Support new crew members to achieve and maintain the required security clearances for the Program.
· Make travel and accommodation arrangements for crew to join the vessel or return home.
· Communicate travel arrangements with crew
· Drive crew to and from the vessels.
· Support the Crewing Officer to achieve roster requirements of the vessel.
About You
• Demonstrated background in marine administration and/or logistics coordination is highly regarded.
• Excellent organisational skills, able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Well versed in Excel, Word, SharePoint and other MS applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Unrestricted Australian work rights and ability to pass maritime security checks.
• Ability to meet security clearances, own or can obtain an MSIC
• Full working rights with no restrictions to work in Australia
