Job Description Mercure Sydney Blacktown is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part Time Cook to join our team of inspired hospitality professionals. You will be working mainly the breakfast shift, preparing & serving food for the hotel buffet breakfast and food prep for our all-day dining menu and Distrikt Cafe. 2 days per week required and an opportunity to pick up extra shifts of an evening as required for events and functions. A great role for an experienced cook or someone studying cookery What you will be doing: Full ownership and operation of the kitchen including breakfast service whilst on shift. Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality are maintained. Preparing, cooking and serving breakfast for the hotel buffet Preparing food for Distrikt Cafe and our all-day dining menu Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of ingredients. Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and all dishes are washed at the end of each shift
