About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide essential support and personal care to our residents, helping them maintain independence and enjoy a fulfilling quality of life. Working under the guidance of our experienced clinical team, you'll assist with daily living activities, report on resident wellbeing, and help foster a warm and respectful community environment.
What You Will Do
Provide personal care and daily living support to residents with respect and compassion.
Assist with meal delivery, refreshments, and menu checks.
Accurately document resident observations and report concerns to the nursing team.
Complete general ward duties and respond to delegated tasks.
Actively contribute to a protected, clean, and positive environment.
Uphold privacy, dignity, and the wellbeing of all residents.
What We Are Looking For
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience in aged care or a residential care setting.
Understanding of issues affecting older people and those living with disabilities.
