Lead a dynamic Trades team within a booming WA gold operation, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective maintenance across our modern heavy mobile fleet of Hitachi, Komatsu and Caterpillar equipment.

The role is offered on an ******* days and nights FIFO roster at our Jupiter operation in the prolific Laverton Gold district.
Key responsibilities
Ensuring works are completed safely, in line with WHS legislation
Ensuring machines are maintained to company standards as per OEM specifications
Ensure maintenance compliance with all planned and unplanned events
Breakdowns, labour requirements, work order control and cost management.
Delivery of daily scheduling of planned and unplanned work to meet the weekly mine plan
Focus on continuous improvement and lead teams to develop and implement solutions.
Promote and maintain a positive and collaborative team culture

Established supervisory experience within an open pit operation
Mentor and guide the team to assist with their ongoing learning and development
Enable and support a safety focused culture
Manage the delivery and performance of Mobile Plant Machinery
National accredited HD Mechanic / Heavy Plant trade (Certificate 3)
Current Drivers Licence (Manual)
