Accenture is opening a new technology and operations centre in Ballarat and is looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, VMware, or other relevant platforms.
* Support the integration and management of SaaS and PaaS solutions.
* Automate deployments and infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance.
* Collaborate with IT, security, and development teams on cloud solutions and governance.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience with at least one of the following: Azure, AWS, VMware, SaaS, or PaaS technologies.
* Understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, networking, and security principles.
* Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and knowledge of automation tools.
* Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Security Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or be eligible for obtaining security clearance.
On-call and Shift Expectations
Positions are primarily focused on managed services, requiring flexibility to work in shifts and be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities, ensuring seamless operation of services for clients.
