The role involves maintaining senior client relationships, providing strategic guidance, ensuring the health of each account, and managing quality output from the agency.You will manage key personnel and support a dual role that combines client services expertise with overseeing social media execution quality.This is an exciting opportunity to work with major Australian brands such as Isuzu, EnergyAustralia, Live Nation, Hisense, and more. The role requires regular travel to Melbourne and potentially to Singapore and Tokyo (1-2 times per year).The 1000heads team is a collective of social media experts dedicated to managing client relationships and delivering innovative social-first work in collaboration with departments like Creative, Insights, Design, and Strategy.ResponsibilitiesTeam management: Supporting POD leaders in managing client portfolios and internal functions to deliver high-quality work and optimal resource allocation.Strategic vision: Working with senior clients and internal teams to develop clear strategic directions, including social transformation strategies, new business proposals, and audit/campaign strategies.Client experience: Managing senior client relationships, especially with CMO and C-suite executives, ensuring transparent communication and feedback.Agency profitability: Ensuring accurate scoping, budget management, and timely updates, with proactive flagging of budget changes.Accounts growth: Developing client growth roadmaps to maintain health, minimize risks, and pursue opportunities, with specific growth targets.Resource management: Engaging in hiring, writing JDs, and interviewing candidates as needed.Delivery of social campaigns: Overseeing high-quality campaign delivery, aligning creative assets with client plans, meeting performance targets, and optimizing streams.Requirements10+ years of agency experience; experience in tech or related industries is advantageous.Strategically minded with the ability to interpret research and audience insights for social strategies.Creative thinker capable of fostering innovative ideas.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Deep knowledge of social media landscape and emerging trends.Proven leadership with clear communication skills to assure clients and teams.Experience working within cross-agency teams.Entrepreneurial spirit with a competitive edge.This job description provides an overview of key responsibilities and expectations.
