At Anchor Safe, we're on the hunt for a Rope Access Technician to join our Melbourne team. As a specialist in high-rise facade painting, remedial repair, inspections, restorations and maintenance, you'll work with confidence and precision in challenging locations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working with clients to consult on surface types and optimal paint options, particularly for high-rise buildings and construction sites. They'll also be skilled in performing industrial rope access work, using tools and materials to prepare surfaces, sealing cracks and corners, and painting different surface types.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing painting, caulking, concrete repairs, window cleaning and other tasks as required
* Using rope access skills to complete jobs safely and efficiently
* Ensuring surfaces are prepared and sealed to prevent moisture damage
* Painting windowsills, metal roofs, steel structures and building facades
* Carrying out restoration, rendering, installation and maintenance work as required
* Preparing, removing and cleaning up materials from completed job sites
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A minimum of 1 year experience as a Rope Access Technician, with knowledge of the building repair and maintenance industry
* Rope access certification (any level)
* A valid white card
* Full work rights in Australia
* Strong problem-solving skills to overcome unexpected challenges
* Good communication skills when working with technicians, contractors, suppliers, clients, building managers and engineers
