NES Fircroft is partnering with a global resources client who is looking for a MINING PRODUCTION SCHEDULER to join the team. This is initially a 3-month contract.
The Role:
8:6 roster FIFO Perth
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for scheduling daily mine production tasks and activities, and communicating these plans and outcomes to the wider team.
Duties will include:
1. Assist in developing mining plans based on all available orebody information to support short, medium, and long-range planning.
2. Produce Daily Load & Haul production schedule (PLOD).
3. Manage stockyards, grade control, and plant input rates.
4. Monitor and report variances against the short and medium-term mine schedule.
5. Ensure all design work maximizes the economic potential of the ore-body.
The Requirements:
- Experience in production scheduling within a mining environment.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
