About the role
Raptor Metal Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Metal Roofing Apprentice. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, Queensland with work all over South East Queensland and Northern NSW, offering the opportunity to learn and excel in the building trades industry.
What you'll be doing
1. Assist experienced metal roofers in the installation and repair of metal roofing systems
2. Gain hands-on experience in metal fabrication, flashing, and weatherproofing techniques
3. Participate in on-the-job training and attend vocational education classes to obtain a formal qualification
4. Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
5. Contribute to the overall success of the roofing projects by working collaboratively with the team
What we're looking for
1. Genuine interest and passion for the building trades industry
2. Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced tradespeople
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
4. Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
5. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
6. Must be willing to work away on occasions
