SM18157 Underground Mine Surveyor (Contract)
Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit, is seeking a Mine Surveyor to join their Underground Gold Project, which sits in a substantial gold and nickel-producing district.
FIFO Perth 8:6
3 Month Contract
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Surveying;
- Current C Class WA Driver’s License;
- Previous Surveying experience in a mechanized hard-rock underground mine;
- Experience using Deswik Survey;
- Positive skills in spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and database applications
- WA Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency - Grade 1
Position Duties:
- Utilise appropriate equipment and survey best practices to generate accurate survey data in a timely manner;
- Maintain survey equipment to a high standard and ensure equipment is kept within required calibration and adjustment parameters;
- Ensure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessible;
- Assist with creation of Mine Plans for regulatory submissions;
- Install survey stations for directional control of mining;
- Carry out accurate mark-ups of all designs for development and drilling activities;
Previous Surveying experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine
The position is currently open, with a contract duration and FIFO Perth 8:6 duty roster.
