Introduction: We are currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Management Accountant on a 12 months temporary contractual basis for a leading global commercial organisation. You will report to the Financial Controller. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Distribution Centre managements, offering clear and insightful financial perspectives on productivity and projects. Contribute significantly to month-end management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis, focusing on warehouse and transport. Partner effectively with divisional finance and supply chain teams, fostering a data-driven culture and ensuring a cohesive understanding of the financial implications of key decisions. Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports. Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed. Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance and educate operational stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience as an Assistant Management Accountant for over 2-3 years Proficiency in using SAP (Desirable) and strong financial principles Exceptional networking abilities, with a proven capacity to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
