About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining narrow and wide-body aircraft registered worldwide and owned by major airlines and leasing entities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining aircraft in accordance with approved documentation
* Performing periodic maintenance checks, ADs, customer work requests, and aircraft inspections
* Conducting reactivation including engine de-preservation, gear retraction testing, and involvement in component changes
* Utilizing IT capabilities to complete assigned tasks using the maintenance platform
Requirements:
* Work rights in Australia ( NO VISA CANDIDATES)
* Eligible to hold Australian ASIC, airport ADA, radio license
* Ability to demonstrate recency with comprehensive work logbook
* Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work in a team environment
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience working on Boeing or Airbus aircraft
* CASA / EASA Part 66 license
* Exceptional technical understanding of prominent aircraft models
* Strong troubleshooting and resilience under challenging scenarios
Location: APAS Facility, Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs, Northern Territory
Qualifications & Skills:
* 1-3 years aviation experience in planning, technical services, and/or engineering
* Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements (primarily CASA, EASA, and FAA)
* Excellent customer, verbal, and written communication skills
* Ability to work on multiple tasks within strict timelines
