**APS Level 6 - Research and Information Manager, Philanthropy**
The Library is seeking to fill the role of Research and Information Manager, Philanthropy in the Office of the Director-General Branch.
This role undertakes work that is complex in nature and works under limited direction. The role informs the activities of the Library's Treasured Voices campaign by gathering, analysing and documenting internal and publicly available information to identify prospective donors, inform cultivation strategies, and determine ask areas and amounts, and manages the Library's Raiser's Edge database as an information resource for the Treasured Voices campaign.
The Research and Information Manager, Philanthropy role will have an in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the Section and an understanding of how these are inter-related. They may be required to:
- Manage the Library's Raiser's Edge database as an effective information resource for the Treasured Voices campaign.
- Compile accurate lists of data in support of Annual Appeal, event invitations, and other relevant engagement events.
- Ensure that research and information gathering activities comply with internal and legal privacy requirements.
- Identifying and rating major and principal gift prospects based on industry-standard methodologies from internal Library data and external information.
- Creating prospect profiles and briefings based on internal Library data and publicly available information to inform cultivation and engagement strategies.
- Gathering and analysing wealth and giving information from public sources to inform the determination of ask areas and amounts.
