Director, Metals and Mining
Job Title: Director, Metals and Mining Structured Finance
Based in Singapore, you will be leading deal origination and execution of complex transactions with a primary focus on project and structured finance transactions in the Metals and Mining sector across APAC.
* Lead deal origination and execution of complex transactions by developing and maintaining close relationships with key clients in the Metals and Mining Industry.
* Pitch efforts and prepare tailored client proposals including term sheets and/or presentations to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Structuring, negotiating, and executing complex and strategic project finance transactions that align with organizational goals.
* Building, reviewing, and running sensitivities on financial models/cash flows to assess feasibility and profitability of projects.
* Ensuring transactions comply with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements to maintain high standards of excellence.
* Managing execution teams in mandate processes and managing client expectations throughout deal execution phases, and conducting post-closing deal reviews to improve performance.
* Mentoring and developing junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
* 10-15 years of experience in financing, with a strong preference for project or structured finance within the Metals and Mining or commodities/ENR sectors.
* Proven track record across the resource energy sector, with additional exposure to mining and metals transactions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
* Good transaction structuring skills and understanding of credit processes, familiarity with loan documentation, and strong analytical skills.
* Driven personality with the highest level of personal and professional integrity and work ethics.
* Independent, self-motivated, and collaborative team player with ability to work in multicultural teams.
