About the Role
This is a contract on‐site role for an Exercise Physiologist (with Pilates experience/interest) based in Berowra, NSW. Responsibilities involve assessing clients with a range of physical/musculoskeletal conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic rehabilitation (including tailored exercise prescription). Experience teaching Pilates is preferred as you may be involved in running small clinical Pilates/exercise classes (two to three people) on a weekly basis.
Contractor, part time to full time hours available (16 to 38 hours per week).
Days Available: Monday to Friday (days and hours open to discussion depending on your availability) (Saturdays are also available if interested).
About You
* Qualified Exercise Physiologist (ESSA‐accredited Exercise Physiology degree)
* Pilates training/experience/interest (preferably equipment trained e.g. reformer but not essential) (Pilates instructor accreditation/certificate ideal but not required) (additional training/refreshers can be provided by our Principal Physio)
* Ideally 2+ years of clinical/private practice experience however not compulsory
* Professional indemnity insurance
* Strong knowledge of rehabilitation planning, injury prevention strategies and exercise prescription
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and collaborate with colleagues
* Organizational and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs
