The Company and the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Group Financial Controller
to lead group reporting, consolidation and financial governance across a growing organisation. This is a senior leadership role that will play a critical role in bringing together multiple finance functions across the group.
As Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of
group reporting and consolidation
, providing oversight and leadership across statutory reporting, technical accounting, treasury and shared services. You will lead and develop a sizeable finance team across both direct and indirect reports, ensuring strong controls, consistency and best-practice financial reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead
group reporting and consolidation
, bringing together multiple entities and finance functions
* Oversee statutory reporting, technical accounting and compliance requirements
* Provide leadership across treasury activities and cash management (with hands-on exposure as required)
* Manage and develop a broad finance team.
* Partner with senior leadership to provide clear, accurate and timely financial insights
* Drive strong financial governance, controls and continuous improvement across processes and systems
* Collaborate closely with the FP&A Manager on performance insights and business support
Your Profile
* Proven experience in a Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance leadership role
* Strong group reporting and consolidation experience (essential)
* Demonstrated people leadership experience across multi-layered teams
* Experience in a consumer goods/FMCG/manufacturing organization is highly regarded
* CA / CPA qualified
