THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of the Operations and Engineering team, the role plays an important part in efficiently and effectively managing the asset management system on behalf of our client, the Coles Group.
You will lead a dedicated and engaged team who are responsible for managing the collection of asset data, scheduling of preventative maintenance regimes, preparation of maintenance documentation and lifecycle plans, which supports the development and execution of our asset management strategy and processes on behalf of our client.
It is an exciting time to lead the asset management team as we embark on our asset management journey. This role is a great opportunity for a strategic thinking individual who enjoys leading a team and analysing data to provide insightful recommendations to help achieve our customer achieve their strategic goals.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Providing technical analysis of strategic equipment data required in the development of annual partnership maintenance budget.
- Managing the asset register data to provide meaningful, high value management information.
- Developing and maintaining the integrity of the asset registry framework and records
- Managing the allocation and recording of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs
- Managing PPM Schedule and monitoring planned downtime activities
- Managing the asset team and designated projects as defined and increasing department efficiency and productivity.
- Work with General Manager
- Asset Management to develop a strategic asset management plan framework
**You will be required to**:
- Degree in Business/Finance or similar - desirable;
- Diploma/Cert IV Management/Finance - essential or Degree in Engineering - desirable
- Microsoft Excel - essential
- Power BI - essential
- Team leadership experience - essential
- Budgeting & forecasting experience
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Can-do attitude and inquisitive
- Strong customer relation skills with total commitment to customer satisfaction
- Understanding of business, technology and external environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starting, able to work with a minimum of supervision & under time constraints at times
- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
- Ability to identify technical solutions to customers' business needs
