The Role
The Support Services Assistant provides relief and assistance through provision of key Corporate Support Services including waste management, receiving dock/warehouse, portering, and the linen service to support effective service delivery and the patient journey.

Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a warehouse/stores or similar environment with knowledge of stock control and store operations.
* Good written and verbal communication skills with previous customer service experience and the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
* Good time management and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously when required, with a commitment to getting the job done efficiently.
* Sound knowledge and applying of Work, Health, and Safety requirements within a support services environment.
* Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office package (or similar) and experience with electronic stock ordering systems such as iProcurement Oracle.
* Demonstrated ability to work within a team with a flexible approach to work practices.
* Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as required by the position.
