About the role
A small independent accommodation provider is seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a casual role that offers flexible work arrangements, allowing you to work around your schedule, although hours of work would normally fall between 9am and 2pm. As a Casual Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our properties, ensuring our residents and guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment.
What you'll be doing
1. Thoroughly clean and maintain assigned properties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising all surfaces
2. Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and other amenities
3. Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the property manager
4. Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe working environment
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role, preferably in the housekeeping or property services industry, is desirable but not necessary.
2. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
3. Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently and independently
4. A positive, friendly attitude
5. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
6. Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
7. Minimum 3 month commitment
