Remuneration: $36.39 - $51.09 per hour + Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Tamworth Hospital’s Surgical 1 Ward is a 31-bed unit, providing patient centred care for a wide variety of patients with complex care needs. On any given day, our Surgical Registered Nurses (RN’s) are responsible for providing high level day to day nursing care to our patients.
You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), the clinical leaders, as well as the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), Wound and Stoma Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS’) within the ward.
Responsibilities
- Be a dedicated and passionate clinician who is focused on the provision of compassionate care to our patients
- Enjoy being a team player within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team with strong advocacy skills for any escalation of care requirements.
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills, with a sound understanding of the relevant policies and procedures linked to best practice
Essential Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
