About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Trades Assistant who shares their passion and drive for excellence and success to join our Score Group Workshop team.
The Trades Assistant will be assisting our highly experienced Machinists and Technicians with ongoing valve work, in line with company, HSE and Quality standards. The Trades Assistant will have the opportunity to develop their mechanical knowledge, particularly in the field of valve maintenance and repairs.
This position is Monday to Friday for local residents of Darwin or surrounding areas; this role is not FIFO.
Previous experience as a Trades Assistant in a similar industry is highly desirable, however entry-level candidates with a strong interest in in this field are encouraged to apply.

What you will bring to the team at Score
Responsibilities
Duties shall include, but will not be limited to:
* Assist workshop with valve maintenance, repairs and testing.
* Conducting equipment & tooling checks, maintenance and repairs.
* Packing and preservation of goods for shipment.
* Loading and unloading deliveries.
* Assisting warehouse team with stocktake and selection.
* Equipment condition checks for preservation purposes.
* Preparing shipments, deliveries, single return forms and deliverables without reference (DWR) documents.
* General in-house maintenance and yard duties as required.
* Ensuring that all work meets NATA and ISO 9001 standards.
* Following company and client procedures for all work activities.
* Maintaining, a string focus on safety and quality at all times.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience within the Mechanical and/or Manufacturing industry is desirable.
* Current Drivers Licence.
* Current Forklift & Order Picking forklift (Desirable).
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
