SERP Recruitment is partnering with a leading environmental solutions provider to secure 2 x Project Engineers (Mechanical & Electrical) for a high-profile remediation project in Darwin — the first of multiple planned NT projects.
This opportunity offers involvement from construction through to commissioning, with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a long-term Operations & Maintenance phase (2+ years).
We are not looking for textbook PMs. We need practical, site-driven engineers who are comfortable getting close to the work.
Key Information:
Large-scale groundwater dewatering and water treatment remediation project
Immediate construction phase through to commissioning
Strong probability of long-term O&M transition
Darwin-based role supporting critical environmental infrastructure
Backed by national Operations, Design and Commercial teams
Key Responsibilities:
Support installation and commissioning of water treatment and dewatering infrastructure
Assist with pump installs, valve replacements, mechanical works and electrical controls
Coordinate contractors and ensure QHSE compliance on site
Interpret engineering drawings and manage construction sequencing
Contribute to documentation, reporting and smooth transition into operations
About You:
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
5–10+ years site-based engineering experience
Construction and commissioning exposure
Experience across water, mining, oil & gas, process plant or industrial treatment systems
Full Australian working rights
Water treatment experience is advantageous, however strong practical engineers from adjacent industries will be considered.
