Join a successful, well-established Insurance Building company that performs repair building work on homes on behalf of many of Australia's largest insurance companies. The group has a proud history that spanning many years and it now offers an opportunity for an experienced Insurance Building Estimator to join the tight knit Geelong team, working out of the Geelong office and on the road, servicing a territory in Geelong and surrounds.
Reporting to the Construction Area Manager you will visit sites and ascertain the cause of damage and scope of work. You will write and submit assessment reports, provide accurate costing information and liaise with Supervisors and Trades regularly to ensure the smooth-running of jobs. In addition, you will communicate with insurance companies and insured parties and manage your time effectively to complete necessary documents.
The successful candidate will be experienced working in an Estimator's role, preferably in the insurance/maintenance/repairs industry, although candidates with Construction qualifications and experience will also be considered. You will be an excellent communicator, have great attention to detail and proven experience in delivering jobs on time and to excellent quality. You will be computer literate and have a current and valid vehicle licence. You are now looking to join a stable business for a long-term opportunity where there is room for growth.
